Sophie Fawcett

Since joining the CPR Survey in 2019, Sophie has developed her taxonomic expertise in phyto- and zooplankton for the North Atlantic Analysis team. In addition to CPR analysis Sophie also carries out zooplankton identification of net caught samples. Additionally she is a member of the cutting team preparing CPR samples ready for analysis. Sophie previously worked as a Silk Technician, where it was her responsibility to supply CPR filter and cover silks ready for distribution to our fleet of volunteer ships or ready for export to our sister surveys, ensuring that production complies with CPR quality standards.
