SAHFOS Analyst attends 1st EUROBUS working group meeting

SAHFOS analyst, Martina Brunetta, has attended the 1st EUROBUS working group meeting at the Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn of Naples to discuss the recent European invasion of the copepod Pseudodiaptomus marinus.
Native to the Indo-Pacific region, P. marinus first arrived in European waters in 2007 and sightings around our coastline seem to be increasing.
The event is an open-discussion forum, where scientists can share their experience and knowledge of P. marinus with the aim of building an international network of collaborations to monitor its spread and effect on local ecosystems.
