Nicolas joined the CPR survey in 2021 as a postdoc and works on the iCPR project. His research focusses on plankton community ecology. Nicolas aims at bridging the gap between the large-scale historical CPR dataset, and the new fine scale, rapidly developing, plankton images dataset developed within the iCPR project. To do so, Nicolas mobilises unifying concepts and methods in community ecology including functional trait-based tools, and concepts of community assembly.
